Zana received a college degree before she received her high school diploma. On May 11th she graduated from GSU with an Associate’s degree in science; then on May 20th, she graduated from high school. Both with the highest academic honors. While at GSU, she remained active in her high school’s UNICEF and Beta Club. At the request of a professor, she also tutored students in biology, lectures, and labs. Taking a global approach to world hunger Zana founded the nonprofit, Food For All, to raise awareness about food scarcity. Knowing that hard work brings many rewards, Zana will enter GSU’s Honors College this fall.
