To be elected to the Georgia 4-H State Board of Directors, Salih spent countless hours volunteering with kids in STEM and robotics, helping at Farm to Fork day camps and staying at Rock Eagle overnight camp. He placed 2nd in the 2021 Dean’s Award STEM category, the highest award in 4-H. Salih is also an active volunteer at his local mosque, setting up for Eid, helping on Jummah, gathering food and supplies for refugees during Ramadan for delivery during Eid. Being home-schooled has provided him with the flexibility to engage in more explore his extra-curricular interests while maintaining good grades.
